Customized TMH units can be developed and deployed for maintenance in locations which are dangerous to human access (highly polluted sites exposed to carcinogenic materials), locations requiring dedicated service equipment (marine dry docks), high-rise elevator shafts, power-plant chimneys, the inner and outer walls of tanks, shipping containers, etc. Fuel oil companies could employ the customized systems to clean huge fuel storage tanks. Sand-blasting equipment can be assembled on the TMH to rapidly and effectively remove marine growth from a ship’s hull or accumulated tars from the inside of fuel tanks.
It can be assumed that the cost of a customized system, although considerably more than a standard system, will be relatively inexpensive when compared to anything on the market today.
